Children can fly tandem paragliding in Tenerife from 5 years old with parental consent. Most young flyers come on Standard or Recommended south-coast flights with a parent or sibling.
Age & weight
Minimum age: 5 years with a parent or guardian's consent.
Same weight limits as adults: 20–120 kg (44–265 lbs). The pilot checks harness fit on the day.
There is no height limit — our harnesses adjust for different sizes.
Best flight for kids
Standard is the most popular first flight for families — smooth, scenic, and up to 900 m depending on conditions.
The Recommended flight suits confident older children who want a longer flight. Teide and Performance are usually better for teens and adults.
On the day
One parent can fly before the child if that helps with nerves — we can often arrange back-to-back slots for the same pickup.
Bring warm layers and sport shoes. The briefing is calm and age-appropriate — pilots fly with children regularly.
